Madhu Shalini has pinned lot of hopes on Avan Ivan (Vaadu Veedu) to give her a break as an actress in Telugu and Tamil. But sadly she has the dumbest of all the characters in the film. She didn’t even have more footage compared to the other female lead Janani Iyer. It is Vishal, who is walking away with all the laurels of Vaadu Veedu. Even the other male lead Arya has been sidelined by Vishal. Director Bala, who generally gives ample scope to the female leads didn’t give Shalini and Janani a fair deal in Avan Ivan.
What’s more disheartening for Madhu Shalini is the film has opened to mixed talk and most of the critics are bashing this as ‘pointless’ film. Madhu Shalini has been struggling in Tollywood despite being a Telugu girl and hoped that Kollywood would give her the first break. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen!
