Kamal Haasan to direct 'Viswaroopam'? - JustTollywood.com News

Just a day ago we have reported that Kamal Haasan starrer Viswaroopam is going to start its shoot in London and we come up with a shocking update about the film.Latest we hear is that director Selvaraghavan is out of Viswaroopam.Yes! The reason behind this walk out is a mutual one as it became impossible to postpone the shooting of Viswaroopam until Selvaraghavan completes his other Kollywood project, Irandam Ulagam. Producer of Viswaroopam doesn’t want to postpone the shoot as it will be too long a wait. In fact the producer is in plans to release the film on November 7th.One of the most important decisions taken today by Kamal Haasan is the responsibility of directing this magnum opus will be done by himself.

Yes! Kamal Haasan is directing Viswaroopam in addition to handling the story, screenplay, dialogue and lyrics. Viswaroopam is the costliest film that has been planned in Tamil till date as the initial estimate budget is running up to 150 crores. And the film is releasing in simultaneously in 3 languages, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. The time is less than 6 months from now as the release is planned on November 7th and it is not a simple task to wrap up the film in just 6 months as Viswaroopam is not a simple romantic comedy or drama which can be canned at a double quick. The team seems to be confident of meeting the rigid target they have put for themselves and they have already started the pre production work of the film.
