Actress Monica Bedi in the lead,'Devadasini' is all set to hit the screens in this month end. G Venkatesh from Anup Creations banner produced this film.Monica is well known to Telugu audience as she acted in 'Tajmahal' with Srikanth a few years ago. D Gautham directed 'Devadasini' and Durga composed music for this film.The movie completed its censor work and is ready for release."
This is a story based on real life incident where villagers want a Devadasini's daughter also to become Devadasini against her will" the director explained.Monica Bedi is now seriously working towards resurrecting her career after she spent months in jail due to her alleged affair with underworld Don Abu Salem and her involvement in fake passport case.Monica recently took part in NTDV's 'Desi Girl' reality show, 'Jhalak Dhiklaja' and Big Boss season 2 in a desperate attempt to encash her new found 'controversial' image.
