NTR’s upcoming film Shakthi is going to be this year’s first summer big budget film.The eagerly awaited film has Ileana playing the lead role opposite NTR for the second time after Rakhee. Meher Ramesh is directing the film and Ashwini Dutt has produced the film on Vyjayanthi Movies banner.The film, which is going to release on March 30, is releasing with about 40 prints in the US alone.It’s going to be one of NTR’s biggest releases ever.The film has been getting terrific business offers from all over the state.The film is based on Shakthi Peethams and NTR would be seen in two different roles as Shakthi and another as Rudra, which is said to be the main highlight of the film. Sonu Sood, Prabhu, Jackie Shroff, Manjari, Pooja Bedi play other important roles.NTR has been christened as A1 Star with this film and Mani Sharma’s music is already topping the charts
