S S Rajamouli, the star director has been an active social participant and stood for a few noble causes always. He supported the Loksatta party in the last general elections and has been hosting a TV show on HMTV highlighting the civic problems in our city.Now he has announced that he will take part in the 'walk against corruption' at 8 am at people's plaza on Necklace road in Hyderabad. He mentioned that it is to step up pressure on the government to introduce Lokpall bill in the Parliament and urged his fans to join him in the walk.
Rajamouli, his wife Rama rajamouli, music composer M M Keeravani and his wife Valli have openly supported Jayaprakash Narayan from Loksatta in the last elections. They even participated in Loksatta rallies and spoke in the party's support. Unlike many directors, Rajamouli is most often vocal in his political support. A few days earlier, he lauded Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi for bringing in Rs 15 lakh crore investments to his state on the very first day of the 'Vibrant Gujarat' summit.
