SS Rajamouli is a director par excellence. All his movies have intricate production qualities and have always shown the audiences something new. All would agree that he’s an excellent director and has given some of the biggest blockbusters like ‘Simhadri’, ‘Chatrapathi, ‘Yamadonga’, ‘Magadheera’, etc. but the director has humbly laid it down saying he hasn’t achieved anything.
A highly creative director, Rajamouli has tried to introduce a different dimension to his movies. Look at ‘Sye’, a game that spoke about a sport that wasn’t popular in India though people are aware of it. How about ‘Maryada Ramanna’, though inspired from Hollywood, the movie was filled with intense moments that made the audience sit on the edge of the seats?
Quiz him if he’s a big director and someone in demand, Rajamouli humbly says he will be a big director one day but only when an ultimate goal of directing a movie like ‘Mahabharatha’ in the next 10 years happens, only then he would consider himself to have achieved something. A good director is one who wants to entertain; a better director is one who would want to show something different but the best director is one who is always in search of challenges!
Rajamouli, you truly deserve that moment of having achieved ‘something’! And that moment is nearing and probably within the next 10 years! Good Luck and All the best!
