There seems to be a huge confusion over ‘Brindaavanam’s release date in Andhra Pradesh. Reports have it that ‘Brindaavanam’ starring NTR may possibly be postponed to October 14th. The scheduled date was October 8th, one day after the release of Mahesh’ ‘Khaleja’. The clever producer of ‘Brindaavanam’, Dil Raju has seemingly thought of the business of both the movies and in mutual respect of not disturbing the collections of both the movies has thought of postponing the release

On the other hand, the producers of ‘Khaleja’ have announced in regional newspapers that the movie will release on October 7th. Though no official announcement of the postponement of ‘Brindaavanam’ release has been made, Dil Raju was unavailable for comments. Pressure is building from NTR’s fans, as the postponement of release could be a major setback to the ‘young tiger’ in terms of reputation.

With only two days left for the worldwide release of Superstar Rajnikanth’s ‘Robo’, the distribution rights for the Nizam region was sold after a long negotiation.The Nizam rights are bought by Multidimension, the exhibitors who bought the rights of Balakrishna’s ‘Simha’ before. Apparently, the transaction would be around ` 7 Crores.

Known to all, Thota Kannarao bought the ‘Robot’ rights of Telugu at ` 27 Crores from producers Sun Pictures. The delay in sale of rights was due to the huge offer price of Kannarao but later with the intervention of the producers itself; a final rate had to be settled. Nizam is considered the largest contributor of the success share and without a buyer for so long, kept the theatres in the area under uncertainty. All things are settled now and ‘Robot’ will release all over Andhra Pradesh on October 1st 2010

Akineni Amala, Nagarjuna’s wife asked everyone for immediate stoppage of brutal slaughtering of animals during religious events.

Speaking at public meeting at Venkatagiri in Nellore district Amala, who is also a member of Central Animal Welfare Board, said there a lot of violence in movies and was sick to note that violence is even in Nagarjuna movies. She also expressed her anguish that violence had become part of the day, with heinous crimes like rape, murder, accidents and so on flashed in TV channels and playing a prime important in the newspapers everyday.

“Can’t there be any other stuff that could impress us? Why violence alone? If we could overcome the pressing element of violence in our own selves, it would be impossible to avert the violence worldwide. Let us begin to love animals and care for them from the core of our heart. This will surely pave way for world peace,” Amala said. A huge public gathered to have a glimpse at Amala.
