Golimaar Movie Review (Rating: 7.0/10) - JustTollywood.com News

Rating: 7.0/10

Puri, once an assistant to RGV takes lines from his previous films like Satya, Company, Ab tak chappan and comes with a decent flick that is well suited to tollywood style. The movie is fast and slick. He uses Gopichand to his best. Gangaram ( Gopichand) is an orphan. He dreams of becoming a police officer and realises it. He gets into the system to see that everything is fine.

But here enters Bharatnandan (Nasser) DIG of police who uses Gangaram to eliminate Talwar for the sake of Khaleed (Kelly Dorjee). How Gopichand realises the trap and what he does is the rest of the movie. Roja played her histrionics well as the heroine's mother. Pavithra ( Priyamani) is just pass. She is not good when paired with Gopichand.

MS Nararyana's thread is good. Ali tickles your bones. The scenes where prostitutes help police is worth an applause. SamNaidu's cinematography is superb especially in the action scenes. Music by Chakri is good though both the good songs are a straight lift. Dialogues by Puri are good and some carry a punch.

Plus points of the movie are direction, its fast and crispy editing in the first half and Gopichand's energitic performance. Minus points are Priyamani and a slow second half (when compared to the first half.).

The movie is inspire by the famous Mumbai encounter specialist Daya Nayak. Prakash Raj does a guest appearance towards the climax.
