With the legendary star of Chandramukhi refusing to act in its sequel, P Vasu is learnt to be on a search for a big Tollywood hero to act in the same, which will definitely be a big ticket project. After the Kannada Box Office made Aptha Rakshaka a smash hit, the director has been keen to repeat it in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh. To his utter disappointment , Rajinikanth turned down the offer.
The reason, according to some trusted media reports is that, the actor believes that Vishnuvardhan's death (Kannada star, whose last film was Aptha Rakshaka) was caused by a spirit Nagavalli, which had haunted him for doing the role.
Now, with so many mysterious stories doing the rounds about the spirit and how the Aptha teams were harassed (if Soundarya died before the first part's release, Vishnuvardhan died before the second part's release) by it, Vasu might find it hard to materialise the project.
