After some distinguished film personalities, it is now the turn of R Narayana Murthy to be in the midst of a controversy. This time, the complaint could not be much serious, but has the potential to backfire on the actor.A Samaikhyandra representative has asked the Movie Artistes Association to come down heavily on RNM, for allegedly making inflammatory speeches in Osmania University some days ago. The complainant said that the speech hurt the sentiments of those striving for a United Andhra.
It may be noted that RNM, known for his inspiring movies, set mostly in the Telangana part of the state, is not active in films these days.Since he has made the statements on his personal capacity, and not as a member of the industry, action might not be initiated against him for transgressing the "no politics" line of the MAA.
