If you have watched Shambo Shiva Shambo, it is difficult not to be stuck by simple yet convincing performance of Abhinaya, who plays Ravi Teja's sister in the film. The girl hails from Andhra Pradesh, who debuted with the Tamil film Nadodigal.The natural is, in fact, deaf and mute. With her undying passion for acting and film, she has made it to films. Though we may not have taken notice for her performance in Telugu, her Nadodigal act won her critical appreciation and many offers came her way.
So, how did she land up in the Samuthrakarani film? The director was looking for a fresh face for the role of hero's sister, and it was when he saw Abhinaya's profile. He immediately called her for an audition, when the wannabe impressed him in a jiffy with natural emotions.
The actress owes her stint with films to her mother and father, who have always encouraged her to make her dreams come true. As a child too, she wanted to be an actress.Her father, Anand Verma, was an ex-IAF officer and acted in some Mollywood films. Even he wanted his daughter to be an actress and thus named her Abhinaya.
