Trisha Goes to Bollywood - JustTollywood.com News

She’ll start shooting for this film in February 2010. The movie is to be directed by Gopichand, an associate of ace director Sreenu Vaitla . Talking to TOI , the actress said, “I want to do films in all languages that I’m comfortable in. I do not want to be tied down to one particular language as everybody is thinking global these days.”
Trisha has a point as other actresses like Genelia and Aishwarya are doing films in different languages. Genelia, apart from doing three Hindi films, has signed two new films in Tamil and Telugu while Aishwarya Rai is doing a Tamil film (Endhiran) apart from her Hindi projects. Trisha confessed, “The idea is to space out the projects and be comfortable with whatever you are doing. Actually, it is the movies in the south that have given me the reach that I enjoy today.
So, I prefer to work on Telugu and Tamil films first. My first Hindi release will be only in the summer of 2010.” Trisha, Genelia and Hansika are all doing south movies because the money is much more than what they make from Hindi films. Also, it’ll take them longer to get into the elite ‘A’ list of actors. Meanwhile, Trisha is all set to head to Hyderabad for the audio launch of her Telugu film Nammo Venkatesa’with Venkatesh on December 18.
On the same night, she will fly to London for the audio launch of Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa (VTV), which is to be held the next day. “The VTV audio launch, which is expected to be attended by a host of dignitaries including AR Rahman, is sure going to rock. Rahman is my all -time favourite music director. I grew up listening to his music. I’m looking forward to meeting him in London,” she said.
