At the recently held FICCI meeting in Chennai, representatives of various film industries were present. From Bollywood's top directors and movie moghuls to Kollywood's talent like Mani Ratnam to Tollywood's representatives like SS Rajamouli, many serious and commercially-successful filmmakers participated in a discussion which was held to draw inferences on what should be done to improve the success rate of our films.
In the discussion in which award-winning directors like Mani and Govind Nihalani were present, Rajamouli objectively aired his commendable opinion that if we want global recognition for our films, we should make a wonder; and opined that it was Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon that made the China industry the cynosure of all eyes.Reportedly, the great cinematic talent present there were impressed by Rajamouli's views. Well done, Rajamouli!
