It is now slowly becoming a fashion for heroines to do item songs in films. The bubbly Charmi did an item son in Bhale Dongalu She was reportedly paid about 40 lakhs for a four minute item song. Charmi is now doing an item song for the Srikanth starrer Mahathma. The top heroine Anushka is now doing an item song in a film. The film is Thakita Thakita and is produced by Bharat Thakur,the yoga guru husband of Bhumika. Anushka is reportedly doing the item song as a mark of respect to her guru. Anushka learnt yoga from Bharat Thakur and hence he is her guru.
