Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s Panjaa is now being dubbed in Tamil as Kuri soon. Kuri audio will be launched in the mid December. The Telugu version is scheduled for a release on December 9 while the Tamil dubbed version releases in January. Panjaa is directed by Vishnuvardhan who holds a good name in Kollywood after directing films like Arinthum Ariyamalum, Pattiyal and Billa. Sarah Jane Dias and Anjali Lavania are the two leading ladies in the film. Yuvan Shankar Raja scored the tunes and the music is rocking all over with a couple of songs climbing the chartbuster

Businessman dubbing works begins - JustTollywood.com News

Mahesh Babu starrer Businessman in the direction of Puri Jagannadh is progressing at a rapid pace in Bangkok where makers are canning the songs on the lead pair. On the other hand the dubbing works of the film have begun in Shabdalaya Studios and supporting character artists are giving their dubbing in the studios. Kajal Agarwal is playing Mahesh’s love interest in the film. Businessman is an action entertainer set in Mumbai backdrop being produced by Venkat on RR Movie Makers banner. Thaman is scoring the tunes for the film. Businessman is scheduled for a release on 11th January, 2012 in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam languages while the audio will be launched in December.

Producer's Council to submit proposals on Nov. 30 - JustTollywood.com News

The Producers' Sectors Council will submit its recommendations regarding the exhibition of and other issues relating to dubbed movies in a meet to be held at the Film Chambers office in Hyderabad, on Nov. 30. It is known that they have been mooting a set of radical proposals to rein in the dubbed movies.

Here are some of the proposals.

• Dubbed films shall not be released in more than 85 theaters.
• Preference should be given to exhibiting Telugu films (in case of a conflict of interest) over dubbed movies;
• Small films should be exhibited on festivals and theaters must be allotted to them like-wise;
• Tax on dubbed films should be hiked so that it is on a par with the prevailing entertainment tax rates in Tamil Nadu;
• The industry must seek the government to introduce a slab system for ticket prices (to fall between Rs. 35-100).

This proposal is meant for the advantage of the producers of small films.These and other such demands have been proposed by the Council, which is headed by Natti Kumar.

The release date of Bezawada has been fixed on Dec. 1. Announcing the date, Kiran Kumar Koneru, one of the producers of the movie, said that Bejawada will become an important film in Naga Chaitanya's career, much like what Shiva was to Nagarjuna. Saying that the film, jointly produced by Ram Gopal Varma, will see Chai's performance as a major highlight, he announced the world-wide release of the movie on the occasion of the actor's birthday today (Nov. 23).

After the untimely death of the acclaimed director-producer early this year, there has been no film from the banner.Naresh and Rajesh said that they felt they should open a new leaf by taking the baton forward. Consequently, a film will be launched in January 2012. This new film, to be produced by Rajesh, will, surprisingly, not star either of them.In fact, the first-time producer is planning to approach a big star to play the lead role.EVV followed a shrewd strategy when it came to spending money on films. Rajesh must have learnt the right lessons already!

Solo, which is set to release on the 25th, has been awarded U/A by the censor board. The cuts were reportedly minor. Starring Nara Rohit and Nisha Agarwal, the film casts Prakash Raj in a key role.Directed by Parusuram, Solo is produced by Vamsi Krishna Srinivas on the banner of SVK Cienma, and touted as a youthful entertainer.The Mani Sharma musical is a hot contender. The entire film unit is confident that the film would be liked by all classes of audiences as it has everything to suit the taste from kids to elders.

Vishal may be one of the most sought-after guys in Tamil, but he is unsatisfied that no Telugu director has ever approached him with a script despite the fact that he hails from Andhra Pradesh."I would like to do a film in Telugu. However, no director has narrated a story to me. Though my mother tongue is Telugu, no one has evinced interest in doing a straight Telugu film with me. I am puzzled," Vishal was quoted as saying.

Vishal is a well-recognized well in this part of the region though. Vaadu Veedu, where he played a squint-eyed man, won him critical acclaim.His recently released Tamil film, Vede, directed by Prabhu Deva (and a remake of Gopi Chand's Shouryam), is said to be not doing too well at the BO.
