Vennela sequel to be directed by Vennela Kishore - JustTollywood.com News

Vennela is the film which marked the debut of director Deva Katta who went on to make a critically acclaimed film Prasthanam. That film has also introduced comedian Kishore, who is now known as Vennela Kishore. Kishore is now planning to do a sequel to Vennela movie. Deva Katta tweeted that he heard the story of Vennela 2 and it is hilarious. Deva confirmed that Kishore is the director of this film. He didn’t give any details about the star cast and all. Kishore is yet to announce his directorial plans. Kishore is now one of the busiest comedians in Tollywood. Let’s see if he can prove to be a successful director too.

He is the first ‘exclusive’ Tollywood celebrity to surpass 2 lakh mark in the followers count on the most popular social networking website. He has achieved this feat in just over a year. Mahesh Babu has also the record of the first person to have surpassed 1 lakh followers from South cinema. Siddharth who is also a known Bollywood actor is ahead of him though. The other Tollywood celebs to have crossed 1 lakh followers are Nagarjuna, Rana Daggubati and NTR Jr. Ram Charan who started off late on Twitter is closing in on that achievement. Manchu Lakshmi and Taapsee have surpassed 50k mark from the female fraternity.

Akkineni Nagarjuna has launched a film school with international standards in Hyderabad. International School of Films + Media (ISFM) will provide film courses on various levels in crash, short term and full term. This film school will provide courses on the twenty four crafts of film making. Admissions will open from tomorrow and the classes will start commencing from September. Nagarjuna said that this has been the dream of his father Akkineni Nageswara Rao and he is happy to fulfill it. He also stated that this school is not intended to make profits. Nimmagadda foundation has handed over 1 crore rupees as the corpus fund to provide scholarships.
