Producer Venkat, who made six successful movies including 'Hangama and Samanyudu' on the banner of RR Movie Makers, has signed on Ravi Teja and Trisha for one of his forthcoming productions.The film will be directed by debutante Gopi. Earlier, the film had Anushka as the female lead, but sources confirm her backing out from the project forever. So, the media which earlier hailed the Vikramarkudu combination is now singing paeans to Krishna combination.
Any which way, the oomph factor doesn't miss. Ravi Teja is a star who can strike the romantic chord with anyone and everyone. In fact, even Ravi Teja was not the original choice. The gossip mills were reverberating Gopichand's name.So, when is the film finally going on floors? Likely in the first half of February 2010.
Ravi Teja is currently acting in the remake of Tamil super hit Nandodigal in a slice-of-the-life character. So for him, the new film will be a happy homecoming to larger-than-life roles. Trisha is upbeat about her Namo Venkatesha with Victory Venkatesh, which is set to release in January 2010.

Directors of masala films are immensely popular among the audience. Perhaps, they want to capitalist on it and want to be seen in their films, at least for some seconds. In his next directorial venture, VV Vinayak, the maker of Aadi and Tagore, is appearing before the camera, albeit for a very small time. The audio of the film was released recently and the film is all set to release before the Christmas.
In Adurs, starring NTR, Vinayak will be seen in a blink-your-eyes-and-you-miss-it moment! Following in the foot steps of some of the directors like Rajamouli, Surya Kiran, YVS Chowdhary etc,Vinayak too wants to be recognized in a song opposite a rocking dancer like NTR. But, who doesn't want to?

Rajoli is a town in which floods ravaged the livelihoods of many families and Vishnu wants to help them by organizing a charity show on the 10th of this month. Saleem is releasing on the 11th and Vishnu wants to raise the funds for the purpose of flood victims by participating in a charity show at Rajoli.
The decision was taken by Vishnu himself who announced his plans to the media.Earlier, actors like Junior NTR, Charan, Sri Hari and members of Telugu film industry contributed hue sums of money to flood victims. Vishnu is joining the list of actors who have done their bit for the noble cause.

Actor Ram seriously feels that he is alive. Yes, it is because he had bad luck while shooting for his forthcoming film Rama Rama Krishna Krishna in Mumbai. Know what? He was suspected as a terrorist by the Mumbai police, the city still haunted by the ghastly 26/11 attacks last year.The chap was shooting for a chasing sequence along and was driving a black SUV. The SUV appeared to have got too many holes on it and it was being chased by six other black SUVs.
This made the Mumbai police to suspect that terrorists were on the run there. They immediately rounded the SUV in which the actor was sitting and pointed a gun at him.Probably because he was unarmed, the police did not shoot at him. Other policemen came to Ram's rescue clearing the guards' confusion. Writing how much petrified he was after the incident, Ram wrote in his blog that he was happy to be alive!

It is not uncommon to see uncanny similarities between the story lines of some films. Different reasons are accorded for the phenomenon. Sometimes, it is also true that creative people think alike and their minds might have received similar thought waves around the same time.
Three films, namely, Vedam, Om Shanthi and Akasha Ramanna, are believed to be coming up with plotlines or themes that have subtle similarity. If Krish's Vedam, starring Allu Arjun, Manchu Manoj, Manoj Bajpai and Anushka is also about various lives and stories that consummate in an interesting ending, Prakash's Om Shanthi is also about five narratives of individual lives which will, probably, find one climax (the makers are presenting it as one truth).
Akasa Ramanna is also about five lives and their stories. If it stars Allari Naresh, Sivaji and Rajiv Kanakala as male leads, Mira Jasmine and Gauri Pandit are the female leads. The film is said to be a love story and the unkown Akasa Ramanna is likely to hold the key.
One thing is for sure about these films: they are narrative-based and character-oriented, and have several stories reaching one intriguing denouement.
