Naga Chaitanya's new film titled 'Natho Raa...'? - JustTollywood.com News

The 'Josh' star, who is currently doing a film with Gautham Menon as the director, is paired opposite Tanya. The film is titled Natho Raa... . Though the film was launched even before the release of Nag's debut film Josh, the title has not been confirmed. The makers have finalized on a title and released it to the media.
The film has music by maestro AR Rahman and this will be its unique selling proposition in the initial stages. Not to sneak out a single detail about the film, the makers turn reluctant to discuss about the subject. However, it is clear that the young actor is playing a powerful role and it will see loads of action from his part. Krishnudu, the 'Villagelo Vinayakudu' actor, is playing the role of hero's friend in the movie.
If the film becomes a hit, the Raa.. trend is likely to take off again. Remember the many films named ending with Raa... some years ago?

'Kurradu' loses out for misinterpretation - JustTollywood.com News

Perhaps, Anandi Art Creations movie Kurradu is losing out to reputation because of the gross misinterpretation of its subject. Reviews have slammed that the movie is all for a bike and even the initial talk was that it looks like a rip off of the drab film Ride. Nothing could be more egregious as the film has never-seen-subject. It is the remake of Dhanush-starrer Polladhavan and has the story written by Vettrimaran.
The film, to put in a nutshell, in fact is about a middle class guy who loses his favorite bank on the day of a political murder in a locality. In the process of regaining it, he needs to put up a fight for his life and family. It is grippingly told yet the audience do not find it original.
News is that it has also shads of the 1948 Italian cult movie The Bicycle Thief, which was set in the post World War-II economy. In the Italian film, an unemployed middle-aged man who is married, has his bicycle stolen by a thief. which he seeks to get back with the help of a pawnbroker. The premise is this, but there is a world of difference between Polladhavan (and thus, Kurradu) and the Italian film. While the Indian interpretation has the hero finally emerging victorious, the Italian film is a bit tragic.

RP Patnaik's Holly venture ready for release - JustTollywood.com News

It is well-known that music director RP Patnaik's first aim was to become a director and not a musician. He almost bid goodbye to music after delivering a slew of super hit albums ranging from Chitram - The Picture, Nuvvu Nenu, Manasantha Nuvve, Jayam, Dil, Nuvvu Leka Nenu Lenu, Santosham et al. He emerged as the director with super flop Andamaina Manasulo. He failed as an actor with Sreenu Vasanthi Lakshmi.
But nothing can deter his spirit. It seems so. He went ahead with his dream Hollywood project Amy, for which he has written the script too. Moreover, he has lent the tunes for the film. Christopher Atkins, the New York-born actor of The Blue Lagoon fame, is the main lead. Jessica Digiovanni and Kurt Peterson are the other leads. An Andhra talent making a film in Hollywood will be hugely advertised by the Telugu industry, we guess.
