Here is the hot rumour of the day that is doing rounds in Kollywood. Ajith is going to do the remake of Telugu blockbuster Magadheera under Kalaipuli S Thanu's V Creation banner. If this turns out to be true, this film would be the 50th film for Ajith. Magadheera, directed by SS Rajamouli, stars Chiranjeevi's son Ram Charan Teja in the lead. The Film grossed a whopping Rs.22 crore in its first week after release and is smashing all collection records in Tollywood. A few days ago, Chiranjeevi had organised a Special screening for his close friend Rajinikanth at Chennai. It is learnt that the superstar was very happy with the performance of Ram Charan and congratulated him. Currently, Ajith is busy with the shooting of Asal, directed by Saran. He is also said to be discussing about his golden jubilee film with filmmakers like K V Aanand.

The actor was in for a surprise when he found his wallet missing from his pocket when he went to Hyderabad recently. Sonu Sood had to go to the city to promote his Telugu film, but little did he know that he would come back to Mumbai empty handed. “When I went to Hyderabad to promote my film, I was gheraoed by hordes of people. They were literally all over me. In all that ruckus, someone flicked my wallet. I realised it was missing only once I got into the car. Obviously, till then it was too late to do anything about it,” the actor recalled about the incident.

Legal cell of Machilipatnam has issued notices to Ramcharan, Rajamouli and Allu Arvind on the complaint of a advocate that Magahdheera has insulted advocates in some scenes. The legal cell asked those mention three to attend before legal cell on 18th of August. The advocate on behalf Magadheera team attended before the legal cell and requested the Legal cell chairman to permit the producer, hero and director not to attend personally. But chairman rejected advocate’s request and asked the Magadheera team to attend the court on 10th September personally. So Magadheera Ramcharan will attend before Machilipatnam legal cell on 10th of September 2009.

The regular shooting of the film will commence from September 7th, and planned to release in the early next year. The socio fantasy film, “ Brahma Lokam to Yama Lokam via Bhu Lokam,” will be directed by writer turned director G.Nageswararao. The film is jointly produced by B.Venu Gopal and Rupesh .G.
