Puri on dot again with Devudu Chesina Manushulu - JustTollywood.com News

After Businessman, Puri Jagannadh has come to acquire the image of being a racer.  Well, he has someone like Rajamouli in the list of those who admire his ability to wrap up films very quickly.  Devudu Chesina Manushulu was announced in February.  Even before the ending of April, Puri is well on the way to complete the talkie part. Shot extensively in Bangkok, what is pending with this Ravi Teja-Illeana starrer is the making of four songs.  Raghu Kunche is the music director of this movie, whose logo was released yesterday.  The God, who shares a relationship with the principal characters, happens to be Lord Balaji, going by the logo. Expectations from the film are obviously high.  What is to be seen is whether the film will have the usual dose of pop philosophy that Puri's Desamuduru was famous for.

Karthika makes a voluptuous comeback - JustTollywood.com News

If you have already watched Dammu, Karthika Nair doesn't need a fresh introduction.  Three years after her first Telugu release, Josh, failed to give her notice, the daughter of yesteryear star heroine, Radha, has bounced back in the NTR-starrer.  Although the 20-year old had a super hit in Rangam (2010), it was not a straight film.As was advertised by the makers, the tall actress danced well in the film.  She matched steps with NTR in the title track as well as the one in which she shook legs with three other dolls.  She looked dusky and her lip sync was alright.

Although her dialogues were strictly for adults, Karthika made an impression by striking a balance between a voluptuous performance and dances. The choosy actress has two films lined up for release in the coming months.  Annakodiyum Kodiveeranum in Tamil, where she is playing a village belle, will be the first to be released.  Gold, a Malayalam film, which marks her second filmi stint in Mollywood.

Kajal not a bit obsessive about Bollywood - JustTollywood.com News

Kajal has had a breezy career in Telugu.  A preferred A-list actress who has had a successful stint, she is not a bit obsessed about doing Bollywood.  Kajal made a 100 crore debut in Bollywood with 'Singham' last year and is all set to continue her successful streak with 'Special Chabbis' where she is the leading lady opposite Akshay Kumar. A very successful leading lady down South as well, Kajal admits that she doesn't fuss much about her individual contribution to a film and is more than happy as as long it is designed as a meaningful entertainer. She says in an earnest tone, "Also, even though Hindi is my own language, I don't pick up anything just due to that factor. I have worked with some of the best people in South and getting my share of meaningful films in any case."

Since Kajal is stressing so much on the meaningful aspect of affairs, one is tempted to ask her what was about 'Special Chabbis' that made her go for it despite it being dominated by it's male cast. "Purely the subject and the very fact that I am the only girl in the film", Kajal gives out that smile here, "Even though there are four powerful male actors in the film, I am not intimidated by their presence. In fact I am looking forward to working with them."

Balakrishna is done filming for this mass entertainer.  Director Paruchuri Murali has recently said in an interview that the film reflects the prevailing political scenario in the State the last 30 minutes. For a superstar's film, it is a big thing to see deferment for more than four months.
