Censor Board gives 'A' to Rakta Charitra - JustTollywood.com News

Ramgopal Varma, who is in the thick of controversies, submitted his latest trilingual film, ‘Rakta Charitra’, which was simultaneously made in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages, for censor certification. The Andhra Pradesh State Board of Film Certification aka Censor Board awarded ‘A’ certificate on the expected lines.

RGV himself claimed that it was highly action-oriented film with lots of bloodshed. As the board objected to use the word Anantapuram in the film, the makers changed it to Anandapuram. According to RGV’s posting in Twitter, the film is slated for release on October 22. The entire film unit is planning to go to Anantapur to watch the film along with the audiences on the first day to note down the reaction from them.

Basically the film was made with the real life incidents that led to the murder of Paritala Ravindra and the factional violence that is marring the region for quite few decades. Vivek Oberoi, Surya, Priyamani are playing the lead roles in the film. As the length of the film was quite long, the producer cum director is planning to release the film in two parts in a gap of one month or 50 days.

It is not a surprise when people working together would befriend with each other. However, the film industry is an exception. If there are two heroines in a film, they keep on complaining against each other or for something about their costumes, longevity of character, songs and what not. The producer and the director had to face so many problems from them.

However, here is an exception to this kind of environment. In ‘Brindaavanam’ of Dil Raju, NTR paired up with Kajal and Samantha. During the entire shooting time, the heroines moved so closely as if they know each other for long. They became good friends by the time, the shooting schedule was complete. Such instances are quite rare, especially these days, exclaimed Dil Raju.

Is Madhu's 'Adhinayakudu' reserved for Chiru - JustTollywood.com News

Madhu of Leo Entertainments, who had produced super hit films like ‘Ghajini’, ‘Tagore’ and ‘Stalin’ reportedly registered a title ‘Adhinayakudu’ in the Film Chamber recently. It is learnt that Madhu had got the title registered keeping in view Chiranjeevi’s plans to return to the film industry to complete his 150th film.

Madhu, who has a close rapport with mega producer Allu Aravind and is preparing all the necessary groundwork for the forthcoming film of Chiranjeevi and the film is likely to roll in next year. Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi, keeping aside his political career and his party Praja Rajyam for some time, left for the US. Though it was claimed to be a vacation trip, it is presumed that the Mega Star had left for the US for a make over with weight reduction process for a different and new look.

Of course, several gossips are making rounds that the film would be directed either by VV Vinayak or A R Murugadoss or SS Rajamouli. One had to wait and watch as the Mega Star is yet to officially announce the director’s name.

Ragada is the confirmed title for Nagarjuna’s latest film in the direction of Veeru Potla. Producer Siva Prasad Reddy arranged a press meet to announce the same. It was attended by Nagarjuna, Veeru Potla, D Siva Prasad reddy, Anushka, Priyamani, Brahmanandam, Sarvesh Murari, AS Prakash etc.

Nagarjuna said, “I preview logo of Ragada in my twitter account yesterday and the response has been terrific. I used to eat Ragada Samosa at chat stall when I was a kid. I came to know that Ragada means godava while growing up. If you notice lyrics of Jagada Jagada song from Geetanjali, you will notice Ragada word and Gaganam word. Both these words are being kept as titles for upcoming my movies. Ragada is a kind of entertainer like Hello Brother and Allari Alludu. I saw Bindaas movie and gave the direction offer to Veeru Potla. Passionate and talented people like Veeru Potla will always be recognized in Telugu film industry.

Music director Thaman gave good music. We are shooting Ragada movie in Petra, Jordon which is recently announced as the eighth wonder in the world. I am very excited to go to Petra. December has been my lucky month and this movie will be releasing in December 2010. I am doing the role of a man who runs market yard in Kadapa. My dialogue delivery will be in Rayalaseema dialect in this movie.”

Producer Siva Prasad Reddy said, “Ragada is a mass entertainer. Shooting of the movie is complete but for climax and a couple of days work. We will go to New Zealand to shoot a part of the movie in the first week of November. Music will be launched int he first week of November and film will be released on 17 December.”
