When the fans started calling the fan club president to enquire eagerly if Rajini will come with his wife to Thirukadaiyur Amman temple, he said that Superstar’s brother Sathyanarayana would be there for the ceremony.

He brought home the point that Censor rules should be liberalized and that anti-Piracy laws much be implemented stringently and completely.A case was also made for doing away with Service Tax for entertainment. Durga is a character that the Telugu audience cannot easily forget. Fifteen years later, he wants to make a comeback. In an honest sequel, to be directed by Praveen Sri, blue-eyed boy of Ram Gopal Varma, Jagapathi Babu will once again play the typical character that catapulted him to the starry orbit.
We all know that Jagapathi was seriously contemplating the idea with Praveen for many months. The idea is finally materialising. Produced by Keerthi Creations, Gayam 2's other cast has not yet been announced.The actor feels that this is not a superficial sequel, but is true to its title. It will essentially be a chronicle of how Durga lives 15 years since.
The film will go on floors in the end of this month. It will be shot in Hyderabad and Vizag. The producers are planning to release the film in the first week of April.

He also said that Rummy was already registered and the producer had demanded 12 lakhs for giving the title to him. The producer Surendra had raised a serious objection on nag’s statement. He said that if Nagarjuna or producer Sivaprasad Reddy had approached him with a request for the title he would have willingly obliged without asking for a penny.
The producer said that he had registered the title Rummy more than a year ago and even signed up Sivaji as hero. The film did not take off as the director Sarat Chandra expired in an accident. The producer also said that he respects nag but the words had pained him a lot.
