The noted movie maker Ram Gopal Varma who is known for his hard hitting flicks is all set to take off with his new venture ‘Rakta Charitra’ based on the life of the slain leader Paritala Ravi. In view of this, he came to Anantapur and met up with the Superintendent of police M K Singh. Apparently, Ramu is planning to commence the shooting of his movie next month in the district and he was chalking out the security arrangements and other issues. The Anantapur area is known for its faction feuds since decades and given the subject that Ramu has taken up, it could get a bit sensitive out there. The film will be released in two parts as per sources.

The ‘Magadheera’ mania has been spreading across all corners of the southern circuit and now the news from the Kollywood segment is that superstar Rajinikanth also got to have a look at the film. It is said that Rajini along with the showman of the south, director Shankar saw the film in Chennai and after that, they have reportedly appreciated the efforts put in by hero Ramcharan Teja and director S S Rajamouli. Sharing his thoughts, Shankar said that the efforts to transform the movie to a higher level through technical efforts were clearly seen in the film. Rajini from his end said that Charan had acted well in both roles. Well done ‘Magadheera’!!!

Magadheera is the movie that is landing into controversies day by day with respect to Vijayanagaram district ban imposed by Minister Botsa Satyanarayana. Today Allu Aravind opened his mouth and stated that death of five people in Saluru really pained him a lot, he said that he would not find any fault in Ministers decision to ban the movie in the district, but rather than taking measures on safety imposing ban is not fair on their part. He recalled that already they have announced compensation to the people who died in Kazipet and Saluru incident.
