Thaman composing for "Balupu" - JustTollywood.com News

SS Thaman is back into action.  It is known that he has been signed to score music for Ravi Teja's next.  To be directed by Gopichand Malineni, who has become confident after directing a big star like Venkatesh for Bodyguard, this one has been derogatively titled as Balupu. The film sees the coming together of the hit combo of Don Seenu, though Mani Sharma has been replaced by Thaman.  The happening music director is pretty happy on having starting his work for Balupu. Gopichand has taken extra pains to go on floors with a bound script, as his responsibility has only increased after Bodyguard.  He achieved a feat of sorts by continuing his good record for the second film.

Kandireega director complains against Bellamkonda - JustTollywood.com News

It is Bellamkonda Suresh versus Santosh Srinivas all the way.  Film Nagar is abuzz now, discussing something very open and controversial.  The Kandireega director has complained to the Directors' Council that his producer, Suresh, bet him and even threatened him with severe consequences if he did not make suitable changes to the script of Kandireega-2.  Another version goes that the director-producer duo have problems with remuneration issues.

The Council is looking into the director's complaint.  It is not clear whether the Council has taken cognizance of the death threat angle as has been reported.  That the director has approached the Council, which has started the investigation process under the supervision of Sagar (director), makes it a serious issue. The film was announced officially and is all set to go on floors in June.  However, with allegations flying thick in the air, the film is now in the news for wrong reasons.  Since the rift between Suresh and Srinivas is out in the open, the same may put a spanner in the progress of the sequel.

Magadheera can't be recreated: Ram Charan - JustTollywood.com News

It's Ram Charan's gut feeling that Magadheera being a "lovely film," it is almost impossible to recreate it.  A national daily broke the news yesterday which quoted Charan as saying that Anil Kapoor had suggested that he debut in Bollywood with the remake of Magadheera.  However, Charan gently replied to Anil Kapoor, saying he doesn't think Magahdeera could be recreated. Having ruled out reprising Kala Bhairava, Cherry thinks that Hrithik Roshan or Ranbir Kapoor would be apt for the remake.  Having done the difficult role with conviction, none but Charan would know what it takes to essay the warrior-lover's role.

It has been three years since the film released.  Bollywood is just getting ready for the remake.  Abhishek Kapoor of Rock On! fame is all set to direct the remake with Ranveer Singh of Band Baaja Baaraat fame. Meanwhile, Charan has completed shooting for the first schedule of Zanjeer.  He is super happy with the way it has come out.
